(AD) SS18 Fashion with Intu Derby

I was so happy when Intu Derby got in touch to work together again, having taken part in a campaign back in November last year with them I knew we would have lots more fun. I defiantly have to pinch myself sometimes that I get to become involved with brands/establishments that I genuinely use and support. I use Intu Derby shopping center regularly, In fact I could probably navigate around the entire building completely blindfolded so please believe me when I say that I am super happy to work with them and have this post sponsored by them.

This project is all about highlighting how the center is jam packed with Spring/Summer fashion, showcasing that there really is something for everyone is what this campaign is all about and rightly so as the variety of stores currently on offer is great. The center enlisted the help of stylist Cleo Lacey, a local personal shopper and all round fashion queen. Having met Cleo a couple of times now and following her social channels I can confirm she is just fabulous as she sounds.

The centres staff hit the streets of Derby, Belper and Burton selecting a variety of people who were photographed and entered into a competition to take part in a style day with Intu Derby and Cleo Lacey. Once the winners were picked they took part in the style day which included the opportunity to be styled, pampered and photographed professionally. Each winner was also given a gift card so they could shop some of the looks they were given, as well as becoming the faces of Spring Summer fashion in the shopping centre! By this I mean the images and videos from the day would be showcased across in the centre and across social media channels too. Local celebrities of the moment! Keep your eyes peeled in Intu Derby for the footage along with mannequin styling which includes Cleos top picks for the season.

So what part did we play? Well we were lucky enough to get the same experience as the winners, we were able to meet cleo and have her shop looks for us as a family. Just from following us on Instagram she was able to fill a rail full of clothing that was perfect for us. We all got pampered, photographed and went off into the shops afterwards to shop the looks, feeling so inspired for the Summer months ahead.

The whole experience was a fantastic way to celebrate all the stores Intu have under one roof and also a lovely way for local shoppers to be celebrated too. I think the fact that Intu create exclusive events for their shoppers is so fantastic, its a great way to make us feel appreciated and also makes for a very personal shopping experience. They really do think about every customer!

Both Oakley's and Olive's looks were all from Marks and Spencers. (Pictures above are Linked)

Oakleys backpack was from Bobble Art, his shoes were Marks and Spencers and glasses were Trespass.

Olives outfits were again all Marks & Spencers, including shoes too. The Bag was from Accessorize.

I wore a Marks and Spencers shirt, the duster jacket of dreams from Next and and the coolest metallic pumps which are also Next, I also had a mum size bag which was from Next too. Daniel wore a mixture of shops, his trainers are Jack Jones, Jeans are Superdry and his t-shirt was Infinities.

Intu owns many of the UK's most popular retail destinations with super regional centres such as intu Trafford Centre and intu Lakeside and vibrant city centre locations from Newcastle to Watford.

Although this campaign is in support of fashion I think its also a good time to mention that not only does the centre have great shops but also great eateries, great changing and feeding facilities, a play area for the little ones and fun activities for everyone including Showcase Cinema Delux, Mini Golf and bowling. To name a few!

Thank you Intu Derby, for allowing me another opportunity to work alongside you and for being my number one shopping destination.

and thank you readers for stopping by and checking out this blog post! Hope you enjoyed looking into our day with Intu.
