Road testing the brand new JET. (GIFTED by Silvercross
Hi and Welcome back,
Its been a whole month since I posted on here, finding the time to blog this past month has been virtually impossible. Suddenly I have a very intense 1 & 3 year old who will not allow any time for washing let alone Blogging but here we are so I will quickly type as fast as my fingers will let me.
We have just arrived home from a week long stay in Nerja, a beautiful little Spanish town 45 minutes from Malaga airport. It was our first holiday abroad as a family of 4 and we toyed with the idea of taking the Double pushchair because we knew that the late nights, the exploring and the hills would mean it could be easier and quicker to get around if we had it.
A few weeks before our holiday, like a little ray of sunshine in my Inbox sat a very exciting email from Neat PR who kindly asked if we would be one of the first to road test the brand new Jet travel pushchair from Silver Cross UK, the timing couldn't have been more perfect so I very excitedly accepted and explained about our upcoming holiday. The samples were impending and it would be a really tight turn around to get the parcel to me in time but we managed it! Woohooo and we happened to practically be the first ever family to get our hands on one. We didn't even have time to test it out, it arrived late Monday and we flew early Tuesday so we put our faith in Silver Cross UK and hoped for the best!
Before we proceed, I must explain that although the pushchair was gifted to us we have not been asked to produce this Blog Post, nor are we being paid for content on Instagram, I feel I owe it to you guys to give an honest review and take the time to explain what we liked about this pushchair especially because we tried a different pushchair for our Cornwall holiday and didn't like it enough to give it a review. This holiday we took both pushchairs so in the evenings we could let both Oakley and Olive rest their little feet, but the majority of the time we used the Jet.
The Jet has so many qualities that make it a serious game changer in terms of Family travel, its as if Silver Cross has made sure every box is ticked and at the same time not settled for anything less when it comes to keeping appearance high. The instant comparison I could make to our current travel buggy was that the Jet reclined, this was something we didn't read up on first time. The Jet is ultra lightweight and compact, the design makes it fold so small that your able to keep with you at all times including your flight. That means the stressful part of traveling is covered as you no longer need to wait for the stroller to appear at baggage collection, theres no risk of loosing it or it getting damaged in baggage hold. Because of the suitable from birth option it can becomes a full travel system by adding a compatible car seat and adaptor and can be wheeled like a small suitcase when folded and combined with the included Smart Cover again making the airport experience all that more stress free.
Below are some facts that I have copied over from the website so I don't miss anything.

We really enjoyed using The Jet because both Oakley and Olive enjoyed being in it, they were both comfy and had all the space they needed. They were shaded from the sun when needed to be, they could keep cool and nap like a dream too. Another thing we loved in comparison to our other buggy was how strong it felt, despite the lightness of its frame it was sturdy and could withstand different surfaces and steepness. At no point did I feel it was unsafe or not cut out for our adventures.
It folds down very quickly, Daniel (my husband) can do it with just one hand, show off! Although I need some more practise it certainly makes rushed scenarios easier, the few times we jumped a taxi it was folded down and in the boot before the driver could even get out of the car.
But my favourite thing about The Jet is that I want to use it at home, my previous travel buggy was just that 'Travel' only. The Jet feels like so much more than that, it has everything I need for day to day. With 2 little walkers who want to explore by foot this pushchair means they can, I am not left pushing a huge heavy frame, in seconds I can fold it down and carry it instead. Plus it takes up very little room in the car which is an added bonus, especially when your used to a boot rammed to the brim with a double pushchair. I may actually be able to do a big food shop now without having to put bags in the foot wells.
